This past week 10 of our buyers were attracted by the current historically low interest rates, and rightly so, as the 30 year fixed is @ 3.875% and the 15 year is @ 3.25%!  9 of those buyers chose the conventional route and 1 even took advantage of the Fannie Mae Home Path Program for their purchase of Florida’s Gulf Coast Real Estate!

Of the sales 7 closed due to Distressed/Short Sale/Bank Owned/REO/Foreclosure situation and 8 buyers paid CASH!!

While we are still seeing interest rates hovering at historically low levels, 7 of our buyers locked in with conventional financing on the purchase of their new Forgotten Coast Beach Home. The 30 year fixed is currently @ 3.875% (oh my!), and the 15 year is just a bit better @ 3.25%!

4 Buyers took advatage of those historically low interest rates by securing conventional financing and no wonder with the 30 year fixed @ 3.875% and the 15 year fixed @ 3.25%. Even those looking in the jumbo loan range have great opportunity as the 30 year fixed in that range is @ 5% and the 15 is @ 4.375%.

Some have witnessed a RED & White 7mil wetsuit, zipping past the coordinates of our beloved dive of the Empire Mica, just 23 miles off the shores of Indian Pass, others have seen the Jolly Ole’ Fella doing a traditional slide down the Chimney in the town of Port St. Joe, and so many have already been witness to his arrival on a local shrimp boat out on the Apalachicola River! Think those oystermen and women leave out those succulent, briny, salty, Apalachicola Oysters instead of cookies!??
