Even during this time of year the natural beauty of our Eco-friendly lifestyle is at it’s best!

Apalachicola is one of the premier hot spots for visitors and locals alike here along Florida’s Forgotten Coast and this past week one of those historic Apalachicola homes sold for an amazing $300,000 cash! The new owners are quite proud of their purchase knowing that this same home sold for more than twice that at $745,000 in 2005!
One of the two premier peninsulas of Gulf County, Cape San Blas, which won the coveted title of America’s #1 beach in 2002, attracted the attention of 3 buyers this past week. 2 Cape San Blas beach homes were purchased along with a Barrier Dunes town home located only minutes to St. Joseph Peninsula State Park and those famous rolling sea oat filled sand dunes! This cozy little beach cottage is only steps to the beach and was purchased last week for $210,000, less than half of the original sales price of $438,000 in 2004!

These are just a few of the great deals that buyers of gulf coast real estate took advantage of this past week and looking ahead, from the 3 mile “beach bum” stretch of Mexico Beach to the exciting shoreline of St. George Island, Florida’s Forgotten Coast is experiencing exhilarating improvements! No worries here and who cares if that adorable little groundhog sees his shadow, as the warming trend has already began here. Just in the month of January there were a total of 68 properties sold – that’s an average of 2 per day!
